Blush pink and gray. Whenever I see this color palette, I am reminded of romance and femininity that is combined with timeless sophistication. It is a refreshing palette of the softest touch of pink and the classic neutral shade of gray. Whether you decide to go for the lightest hint of gray or go all the way bold with pewter or even use both light and dark hues altogether, gray never fails to make the slightest contrast – or break – to a girly palette of just all pinks without removing the romantic aura just the same.
I am quite happy to say that both these hues have made it to Vera Wang’s 2014 Color Trends, stating that “pink will forever be a wedding color trend” and “gray is the new black“.
I am just quite taken at how pretty this chair decor is. The wood adds a rustic touch to this rather elegant and formal color palette. And of course, this macaron tower from Laduree is just divine and heavenly. A perfect wedding cake alternative, I must say!
