Every year at Bridal Fashion Week, Vera Wang brings us an iconic collection that is going to be etched in our memories forever. Every year she dares to be different, every year she gives us something that is truly awe-worthy – bold, fierce, and edgy bridal gowns that sets her above the rest. In a sea of gorgeous, delicately done wedding dresses, a Vera Wang gown always stands out and there is no slight chance of mistaking it. Whether she decides to paint the town Red, or make us blush with girly pride in Pink, or whether she decides to makes full-length leather gloves as the next best wedding accessory, Vera Wang never fails to wow us with her vision and extraordinary talent, making each year an exciting one.

Instead of doing the traditional live runway show this year, Vera decided to present her collection in a short film that went live on her website last April 13. In a press release, Vera says that she intends to reach a vast, wider audience than she could do in a runway show. She shares, “The opportunity to create a visual and expressive experience of the clothes, as interpreted by my fashion vision, is a whole new way for me to communicate with not only brides, but women everywhere. In this instance, bridal becomes the artistic vehicle to advance my love of fashion in general. I hope you will enjoy this new experience.”

Ethereal. Bold. Fierce. Edgy. Inspired by the “lightness of being, delicate and discipline, sensual and seductive,” The Vera Wang Bridal Spring 2015 collection is all about cutting-edge bridal fashion. Oh, get ready to be swept-off your feet, cherries!

To start Bridal Spring 2015 here on the blog, I bring you the remarkable wedding gowns by no less than THE Monique Lhuillier. Her creations have always been my favorite so it is just fitting that I start my Bridal Spring 2015 features with her work. Entitled “My Ethereal Daydream”, Monique Lhuillier Spring 2015 wedding dress collection was inspired by the works of painter, John Singer Sargent. She even ended the runway show by gathering all the models on a platform with some of them sitting and others standing, thus creating the effect of a Sargent portraiture.

This collection was made even more unexpected with the infusion of delicious shades of pistachio, mist and hydrangea.
